Materials R&D Assistant


Job description

  1. Responsible for product development and providing professional technical support for biodegradable packaging materials based on customer needs;
  2. Participate in biodegradable packaging material development projects, assisting in various stages, including product design/structure, resin selection/evaluation, mold development/evaluation, production process planning, and product testing/validation;
  3. Support research on biodegradable material formulations, modification, composite structures, and processes such as film blowing, casting, printing, and lamination;
  4. Assist with the company's internal patent management and application processes;
  5. Support the management of the laboratory team, equipment, and inventory.


Job requirements

  1. Full-time Master's degree in Materials Science, with a focus on polymer materials or processing preferred;
  2. Experience in packaging product design and development in the beauty and personal care industry;
  3. Proficient in material processing and testing, with knowledge of polymer processing for various bio-based/degradable materials;
  4. Patent writing experience and experience in biodegradable materials development are preferred;
  5. Must be based in the materials R&D laboratory.
